Please join me in my fight to make a difference in the lives of the more than 1 million Americans living with autism today.
On September 24th, 2011, I will be participating in Walk Now for Autism Speaks in Austin, Texas, to help change the future for all those affected by autism. Autism is the second most common developmental disorder in the United States affecting one in every 110 children born today. Despite some promising discoveries, the cause of autism is unknown. This walk aims to raise awareness. Hopefully, more parents can become aware of the signs and symptoms of autism, allowing them to recognize the disorder in their child. Luckily, there is autism treatment for children, so parents should be able to seek help for their child.
Research is crucial. Every 15 minutes another child is diagnosed with autism. It takes years of research and clinical studies to find a cure for symptoms associated with autism. The fmt treatment autism, for example, gives hope for children on the spectrum with gastrointestinal (GI) symptoms to lead a better life.
Walk Now for Autism Speaks is our chance to make a difference by raising money for autism research and heightening public awareness.
Please join me in my fight as I raise money to help fund essential research.
I’m so grateful for the number of donations that I have seen so far, but I want this to continue. As a result of this, I have even been thinking about looking into giving tuesday, the global day of living, to keep raising funds for this cause. The more money we raise, the more likely we are at being able to make a change to the lives of people who live with autism. We can truly make a difference.
But we need your help. You can donate online using the links at the bottom of this page. Again, we thank you so much for your ongoing support, and please, join me in the fight to make a difference.
Donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
